Tiljala Bustee is one of the many urban slums in Kolkata, this one on the eastern side of the city. We went there with one of the local NGO's who work in the area, helping create small scale jobs for women and local communities, as well as advocating for legal rights. We also met with some folks who live in the slums and folks in one of the schools and community centers just off the railroad tracks.
