A Fall Craft Extravaganza
One of the best things about my new teaching job in the Southern Appalachian mountains is having a change to embrace craft way more than I ever could teaching at the university. While some of this is connected to teaching crafting classes, I’ve also been dedicating more time to crafts in general, especially working to develop my leatherworking skills and knowledge, which is something I find immense enjoyment in doing. But that is just one of the many, with paper arts being another, in particular journal making and handmade paper crafts. When I’m feeling really adventurous, I love mixing paper and leather–I know, living on the edge–ha ha!
Here are a few examples of some of the crafts projects I’ve been working on this fall, enjoy!
